Shepherd Hill is a nationally accredited behavioral health treatment center located in Newark, Ohio, 30 miles east of Columbus.

Patient care units are designed to accommodate patients in comfortable, private surroundings within a campus setting.

Facility Information
Shepherd Hill was founded in 1985 and was one of the first treatment centers available in Central Ohio. The facility, now a part of Licking Memorial Health Systems, is equipped to provide comprehensive treatment options including:
  • Detoxification/withdrawal management
  • Outpatient, residential, and extended residential treatment
  • Outpatient treatment and medication assisted treatment for substance-use disorders
  • Inpatient and outpatient psychiatric counseling services
The facility offers treatment areas for inpatient, residential, and outpatient treatment, including patient rooms, a cafeteria, an auditorium, and landscaped outdoor space. Shepherd Hill combines modern medical treatment, education on addictive disease and associated illnesses, and recovery in a tranquil, private setting.
