  Addiction Medicine

Highberger,-William-A-,-M-D34.JPG W. Andrew Highberger, M.D., Medical Director of Shepherd Hill, received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. He completed post-doctoral studies in general surgery, as well as a residency in anesthesia at The Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus. Dr. Highberger completed his fellowship in addiction medicine in 2014. He is board certified in addiction medicine and anesthesiology.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. He is certified as a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner.

He completed a psychiatry residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus. He is board certified in psychiatry.

He completed a general psychiatry internship and residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Yoder is board certified in psychiatry.

Yoder, D.O., Director of Outpatient Psychiatric Services, received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. She completed a categorical psychiatry internship and a general psychiatry residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia. Dr. Yoder is board certified in psychiatry and is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
